Breeders are listed below the breed description.
Welsh Springer Spaniel
My breed has been known, in some form or another, for many centuries. Some of my ancestors were sheep herders, cattle drivers, and gun dogs, and were called ‘Welsh Cockers’.
My coat is straight and flat, with somewhat of a silky texture, so grooming is really quite simple.
I am an excellent hunting companion and a good, all-around family dog for outdoor lifestyles.
When fully grown, I am between 18 and 19 inches tall (45.7 to 48.3 centimeters) and I weigh between 35 and 45 pounds (15.8 to 20.3 kilograms).
