 Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
I am the odd-ball of the large terrier group because I have a golden, silky soft, flowing coat which is a little on the curly side. I am pretty much a one-size-fits-all variety of house pet because I am adept and talented at driving cattle, exterminating vermin, and guarding.
I am agreeable and peaceful by nature, but I am certainly no pushover. I need quite a bit of exercise to get rid of my excess energy.
It used to be that I was accepted au naturale, but these days my coat will need more than just a lick and a promise to keep it looking good enough for company or the show ring.
When fully grown, I am between 18 and 20 inches tall (45.7 to 50.8 centimeters) and I weigh between 32 and 45 pounds (14.4 to 20.3 kilograms).
