Breeders are listed below the breed description.
Polish Lowland Sheepdog
I am told that my breed was produced sometime during the 16th century by crossing the Puli with other mountain herding dogs in order to produce a smaller dog that retained the weather-resistant coat.
After nearly becoming extinct during the Second World War, my breed has enjoyed somewhat of a comeback and is now becoming popular as a guard dog.
My other name is Polish Owczarek Nizinny but you might have trouble pronouncing it, so you can call me a Polish Lowland Sheepdog.
I am a bit possessive, but I am trainable and can be very affectionate.
When fully grown, I am between 16 and 20 inches tall (40.6 to 50.8 centimeters) and I weigh between 30 and 45 pounds (13.5 to 20.3 kilograms).
