Old English Sheepdog

My relatives were called "Bobtails" (because our tails are traditionally docked) and they usually worked as cattle dogs and guard dogs, but these days most of us get to be pets, companions and show dogs.

My coat is really thick and I have trouble keeping it nice by myself. If I am a pet, I will need for you to brush it for me daily. If you want me to look pretty and win you a ribbon in a show, you will have to spend many hours at the grooming table with me.

I am fun-loving and good-natured, but I can be pretty boisterous, so obedience training is probably a must to help me learn good manners.

When fully grown, I am between 21 and 22 inches tall (53.3 to 55.9 centimeters) and I weigh between 66 and 75 pounds (29.7 to 33.8 kilograms).
