 Mastiff
I am indeed an ancient breed. My ancestors were hunters of wild horses and lions, as well as protectors of the homes of Babylonians.
Furthermore, Assyrian people buried Mastiff-type figurines under the thresholds of houses to ward off evil.
I am a sturdy, competent protector who needs a lot of exercise and a lot of food.
When fully grown, I am between 27 and 32 inches tall (68.6 to 81.3 centimeters) and I weigh between 175 and 190 pounds (78.8 to 85.5 kilograms).
