 Keeshond
I am a descendent of the German Wolfspitz and was once known as the Dutch Barge Dog.
I was regarded as a combination good-luck companion, guard, and vermin controller on sea-faring vessels in the Netherlands.
These days, I make a fine pet and companion. I am intelligent, respond well to training, and my exercise requirments are not hard to fill.
My coat is full, straight and harsh and requires regular brushing to keep it looking nice.
When fully grown, I am between 17 and 19 inches tall (43.2 to 48.3 centimeters) and I weigh between 55 and 66 pounds (24.8 to 29.7 kilograms).
