My relatives originally came from Scotland, where they worked as herding dogs.
I am the same size and temperament as my rough-coated cousin, but my coat is short and close, with a thick undercoat.
I love to run and play and I get along famously with people. Like my rough-coated cousin, I am intelligent and eager to please.
When fully grown, I am between 20 and 26 inches tall (50.8 to 66 centimeters) and I weigh between 40 and 75 pounds (18 to 33.8 kilograms).
